Inequalities in Wales
A lecture presented by Professor Teresa Rees,
part of the Issues of Our Times series of lectures
on Wednesday 6th October 2010 at 7-30pm

Professor Rees of Cardiff University and president of
WEA South Wales, was a member of the Labour Government's National Equality Panel which reported in January 2010. She will speak on the implications of the report for Wales.

The Workers' Educational Association
(WEA) is a voluntary movement for
lifelong learning.

Our objective is the creation of an educated democracy in which participation in public affairs, and the knowledge that it requires, are widely spread throughout the community.

The WEA South Wales is democratically accountable to its members and federated educational and workers organisations. It is inclusive, unsectarian and non party political, and wholly concerned with promoting lifelong learning in south Wales.

The WEA South Wales Council is the governing body of the Association and is elected at the Annual General Meeting. To view our Council members page, click here.
