TASI - JISC's Technical Advisory Service for Images has a wealth of information on finding and
using digital images. Explore their site for up-to-date information on where to find images
online and how to use them.

UVic's Language Teaching Clipart Library - About 3000 images, designed for basic language teaching but could be suitable for a wide range of uses.

Gathering the Jewels - Over 20,000 images of objects, books, letters, aerial photographs and other items from
museums, libraries and record offices in Wales. Images may be downloaded and used for
personal use, and for most non-commercial educational purposes - this includes use by
teachers, pupils and students, for research or teaching purposes, within the classroom,
the school, or on a school or college intranet.
More than 20,000 photos from 150 years of polar expeditions available online. These images have been made accessible by the Scott Polar Research Institute, thanks to a digitisation programme funded by JISC.
The Visual Arts Data Service (VADS) and the London College of Fashion collaboration making the photographic archives of three important cosmetics companies made accessible online for the first time. The archives of Gala, Miner’s and Crystal, three prominent cosmetics companies operating during and after the Second World War, held at London College of Fashion have been digitised and are made freely accessible through the VADS website. The archives are a valuable resource for the study of the history of cosmetics, advertising photography, fashion promotion and women in the Second World War.
